Haley Van Voorhis made history on Saturday as the she became the first female non-kicker to appear in a college football game at any level. Van Voorhis is a safety who plays at Shenandoah University in Winchester Virginia. Shenandoah hosted non-conference opponent Juniata, Van Voorhis entered the game late in the first quarter on a third down play and she recorded a quarterback hurry to force a fourth down. The Hornets defeated Juniata 48-7.
